ReliaGATE 15A-14
The ReliaGATE 15A-14 is purpose-built for industrial environments with its powerful processing ARM Quad-Core CPU and the ability to seamlessly connect to global networks and 5G Ready.
Installer
The ReliaGATE 15A-14 is provided with Everyware Linux (EL) 40.x and requires the ESF generic profile for aarch64 (ARM 64).
GPS Configuration
The ordering code REGATE-15A-14-08 has an internal GPS receiver provided by the modem, the ESF PositionService should be configured to use the ModemManager provider and the modem GPS should be enabled in network configuration section.
Ethernet Configuration
The default configuration of the Ethernet interfaces for a ReliaGATE 15A-14 is the following:
| Interface Name | Gateway Label | Status |
|---|---|---|
| eth0 | ETH0 | Enabled for LAN - Static address 172.16.0.1 with DHCP server |
| eth1 | ETH1 | Enabled for WAN - DHCP Client |
Wireless Configuration
The ReliaGATE 15A-14has a WiFi interface, named wlan0.
By default, the interface is disabled.
Firewall Configuration
Follows the ESF default firewall configuration for ESF:
Docker integration
EL 40 provides docker but the service is disabled by default for security reasons.
In order to use ESF Docker integration, Docker must be enabled manually with the following command, and then the gateway must be restarted:
systemctl enable docker.service docker.socket
Serial Configuration
ESF 7.6.0 does not support serial port configuration for this device.
Starting from version 7.6.1, ESF introduces a Serial Port Configurator, a configurable component that allows you to set up the various serial ports available on the gateway, which may differ based on the ordering code.
The ESF component manages serial port configuration using the configuration files located in the /etc/ethserialsetup directory (refer to the gateway Software Manual for more details on the configuration files). Specifically:
- The ESF component will display configuration options based on the presence of files in
/etc/ethserialsetup, enabling the configuration of the same parameters outlined in the configuration files. - When the component configuration is updated, the only change made to the system will be the update of the configuration files; the serial ports will not be reconfigured until the next device reboot.
Warning
The ESF component will not initiate a device reboot automatically when its configuration is updated. The reboot must be started manually by the user.
GPIO Mapping
ESF 7.6.0 does not provide a GPIO mapping for this device.
Starting from version 7.6.1, ESF provides a GPIO mapping for the buttons, LEDs and digital inputs/outputs available on the gateway, which may vary depending on the ordering code.
Hardware Tamper
ESF 7.6.0 does not provide support for the hardware tamper detection.
Network Threat Manager
The flooding protection and fail2ban features are enabled by default.
