Log Analytics
The ESF Log Analytics are a set of ESF services responsible to fetch and process the device's logs. The selected logs can also be published to the selected cloud platforms.
It is composed primarily by an extensible set of APIs that allow to retrieve logs from different sources in the system, process them with specific filters that can also control the rate of log messages. At the end of this processing phase, the resulting messages can be published, for example using the Cloud Publisher APIs, to the preferred Cloud Platform for aggregation and further processing.
The feature is also compatible with Wires and can be deployed in graphs to perform further edge processing of log messages.
The ESF Log Analytics are distributed by default since ESF 6.2.0 but are not enabled by default.
Every gateway deployment with ESF 6.0.0+ can be updated to leverage this new feature.
